For example, if the outer packaging of imported food exceeds 20 square centimeters, the height of the text, symbols, and numbers indicating the content shall not be less than 1.8 centimeters. The Chinese characters in the label must correspond closely to the foreign language, and the Chinese characters must not be smaller than the corresponding foreign language.

3. Unable to stick production date

The new regulations require that food be labeled with the date of production, which is the date when the product produced by the producer has undergone factory inspection; The production date should indicate the specific location of the packaging, and abstract "visible packaging" should not be used.

For example, some companies produce products that are sealed, sterilized, and cooled on May 1, 2005, but require 5 days for inspection, but print the production date as May 10, 2005. After all, it has been on sale in retail stores since May 8th. This situation is a false production date, and the enterprise should be punished. To avoid dealers changing the production date, it is necessary to print or print information such as food production date and shelf life on the packaging, rather than directly pasting it on a piece of adhesive paper.

4. Genetically modified foods must be noted

The new regulations require that food included in the "Management Measures for Agricultural Genetically Modified Organisms Labeling" issued by the Ministry of Agriculture must be labeled as "genetically modified food".

For example, common genetically modified foods mainly include soybean flour, soybean oil, corn oil, rapeseed oil, rapeseed meal, fresh tomatoes, and tomato sauce.

The oil produced from genetically modified soybeans should also be labeled with the words "genetically modified soybean oil".
