The holes on the coffee bag are mainly one-way exhaust valves, which have the following functions:

Prevent gas explosion in packaging bags: roasted coffee beans will release a large amount of carbon dioxide, and a one-way exhaust valve can expel excess gas from the bag to prevent the packaging bag from being burst.

Keep coffee beans fresh: The one-way exhaust valve can block the air outside the bag from entering the bag, avoiding oxidation of coffee beans due to contact with oxygen, thereby maintaining their freshness and flavor.

Eliminating stale odor: By adding this small hole to the packaging, the gas can circulate in the packaging, taking away the stale odor, making the taste of the beans more pure and mellow.
